Under Crossover 13.2.0, the audio portions of both URU: Complete Chronicles and Myst Online: Uru Live were defective with the multi-stream audio unsupported. Extremely loud and overpowering volume from "Zandi's" portable radio at the beginning of URU:CC, loud random noises sporadically through both games, although the video portions worked correctly.
Under Crossover 14.0, audio is normal, and all spurious noises are gone in URU:CC.
Unfortunately, attempting to load URU Live now crashes with an "access violation" error, displaying a stack set within the error dialog box. That occurs repeatedly just when "1 second" is shown in the program loading progress bar. This problem did not exist for my computer under Crossover 13.2.0.
The access violation problem with Uru Live has been seen by many Windows users as well, and by Mac users running WINE.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.9.5 "Mavericks."
If anyone has advice I would appreciate it. For instance, would installing a Windows Service Pack using Crossover help a Mac run URU Live?
