running suse9.3 and cannot get the printer to work - deskjet 960c. it appears in the print setup list but any attempt to print elicites a printing error 5 message. Rather annoting as the GST return needs a printer to display. anybody have a suggestion?
There is a well known bug in Wine Bugzilla as Bug 6316. It will print out some reports, but it only prints a blank page, for checks, invoices, statements, etc. These are all the things that data is manually entered into. The program actually works acceptably well, except not be able to print checks and invoices renders it useless.
Actually printer 5 just means the printer is not installed. I can get this same error under native windows if no printer is installed when the program is started.
