I am wondering why a completely new application entry is being made for each version/release of this application?
Would it not be easier and more in on par with most other entries, to have one entry, with a new version added for each new release?

We were letting the law of inertia govern this one - users just kept on submitting new entries for each program update, and we did not deviate from the course. But it has officially gotten out of hand, I think.
So! All app entries have been merged into The One Entry, which is this one - "MP3tag".
For future updates to the program, please discuss them, here, in the forums, rather than submitting new app entries.
