Using the default installer of CrossOver I installed mp3gain into a new bottle.

But running the application results in a dialog stating "The program MP3GainGUI.exe encountered a serious problem and needs to close.".

Clicking the [Show Details] button results in closing the dialog but does not reveal or show any details whatsoever.

Can someone help?
Otherwise I'm left with nothing else to do than running a full version of Windows as a virtual machine inside VirtualBox, VMware Fusion or Parallels and using that to run the Windows programs that don't work (as well) inside CrossOver...

Hi. Tried it with the default installer and with the full installer from the developer page at SourceForge. Didn't work. Will try out some things and get back to you. For the time being, I'm rating it as installable, but not running.

Meanwhile, I looked at the downloads page on the developer SourceForge page and installed MP3Gain Express for macOS, which was recommended by the developer as a Mac port. Tried it and it seems to work just fine. I'll keep looking if there could be any dependency missing for running the original program on CrossOver, but there it is.
