when ever i download it the game is playable but it isnt in applications when i quit only random files, i have also seen this issue with the latest m&b fire and sword.

...which release of the game do you have?...ie; Steam, GamersGate,
CD/DVD...? Also, what version of crossover are you using, and which
OS/platform are you using?

im downloading from the site (the latest version) also i use the mac crossover games and constantly update it and everything on my computer so im not sure :(

..okay...then I assume you're using crossover games 10.2.1
and likewise I assume you're using MacOS 10.7.2 (as these are the
latest versions)...

..as I get the impression you're not too proficient with software,
probably the best/easiest idea I have to help you, is to see how
viable it is to create a crosstie for this app ; that will take me
a bit of time, and the crosstie won't be available online for you
for several hours... but ... it will save you (and others) a whole
heap of trouble if the crosstie is possible...

..I'll post back here once I've had a look at things...

Update:

...seems to work fine ... the only thing I can think of to explain
your situation, is that you are 'running' the installer, rather than
-installing- the game. This would, in fact, result in the game being
installed into whatever bottle you have set as default, however, this
is likely not immediately evident if you run the installer (rather than
installing the game).... see;

..basically, you need to create a new winxp bottle, give it a meaningful
name, and then install the game as an 'Other Application' as detailed in
the docs I link to here above...

...else .. the crosstie is done, but won't be online until the Ninjas get
back into work in several hours of time...
