I tried to launch the game but I get this error. is there any setting I should check?

just a follow up question: crossover detect my xbox controller, but when i launch the game i can't play with controller. is there a way to use it? i tried to click on the override button on the controller setup but it won't work. thx in advance

I am having the same controller issue. Any advice would be appreciated.

I've gotten controllers to work properly by disabling steam input. It seems crossover does the input mapping internally so steam input seems to create issues if left enabled.

I also have this problem on Macbook air M3 with D3Dmetal enabled.
The version of crossover is 24.0.5.37904.
