Microsoft Word 2007 Forum

I downloaded and installed a trial version of both Crossover and Microsoft Office 2007 to determine if it was worth buying. So far, I am very impressed. However, I have run across a potentially deal breaking problem. I am able to load a template and create a new document, but I am unable to load an existing file (.docx). Every time that I go to load an existing file the program crashes and than restarts automatically. Any help regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have the same issue, I cannot open any saved files... I am not on a demo version of crossover though.

Each time I try to open any .docx files I get a notification that word has crashed, and that it will try to recover my data (it never can). I have tried reinstalling a few times, and it still does not work.

I am on Ubuntu 8.10 x64 and I am using Crossover 7.1.0
