crash when printing

I have a word document edited under winxp. This document contain equation edited with the Mathtype equation editor
http://www.dessci.com/en/

I try to print this document on my linux box (debian etch + crossover-pro 5.0.1-1 + cups 1.1.23). The document open in word and the equations are visible in a correct format. When I try to print this document, word always crash. I have no problem with other document that does not contain equations from Mathtype .

Any idea about this ?

I have exactly the same problem. Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it. I also have some problems with parenthesis in equations not printing correctly. Sure would like that fixed.

Ah ha, I've been having this problem and I finally figured out how to get it to work, it seems that there is a bug in Word 2007 where if you have a graphic with the special borders or shading or anything it won't print your equations. I just removed the special formatting on the pictures and both the pictures and the formulas printed out fine! Now i can turn in my calculus, yay!
