Copy & Paste from OpenOffice to Word under COO

I have encountered a weird problem today. I wanted to paste a block of text from OpenOffice 1.1 to Word2000 on COO 4.0. When I do ctrl + v the text gets pasted incorrectly - just a bunch a weird characters. Take a look at the screenshot here (http://www.asmirnov.org/misc/coo/coo-word-issue.jpg) - look at the last line in the text. I have no idea why this is happening, copying and pasting works fine from OO to OO or from Word to Word or even from Word to OO. Anyone else encountered anything similar?
