Microsoft Visio Compatibility Pack

am I right that currently there is no way to open vsdx files? The compatibility pack requires Windows 7 or higher, but Visio installs to XP bottle only.

Have you tried settings the "fake" version to Windows 7 in the wine config?

Yes, I tried, Visio stops working and gives me "IOPL not enabled" error immediately on start,
