Visio Technical hangs when saving file

I have installed Visio Technical 5 using the CrossOver Installer "Microsoft Visio 2000". The install seemed to go well but when I attemt to save the file the program stops responding.

I have a lot of files that have been created with Visio but am unable to find a good Linux alternate.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
