Installed fine on Mac OS X, but some errors during operation

Yesterday I installed MS Project Professional 2003 into an XP bottle. Running Crossover 6.1.0 on Intel MacBook Pro, OS X v10.4.9.

Installation went fine, app opens up fine, and at first glance it appears that all is good.

However when I go to create a new project, I'm immediately stymied by the following error:

"Invalid date. This is not a valid date, or it is outside the range for dates, which is January 1, 1984 through December 31, 2049. Type a date in the correct format, for example, 6/15/29 or June 15, 2029."

Wondering if anyone else had similar problems and if so, if/how you got around them.

In the Support FAQs, I found one entry saying that MS Project 2003 will only accept dates formatted to match the Mac OS X date format in System Preferences > International.

I quit Crossover, reverted my date formats to "default" formats in System Preferences, and when I re-started Crossover MS Project 2003 seems to work perfectly (so far). I've been able to create a new project, edit, save, re-open, continue editing etc... So far, so good!
