After resolving the LANG problem, this is what works in Project 2000 under 3.0.0:
- Column resizing
- Window split moving
- Scrolling (quite well)
- Complex documents
- Japanese
- Chinese
- Views: Calendar, Gantt Chart, Network Diagram, Task Usage, Tracking Gannt, Custom Views (w/ Japanese Titles), Resource Sheet, Resource Usage
- Sorting
- Grouping
- WBS Code, Renumbering
- Project Information
- Options
- Spelling
- Customize toolbars
- Minimize, Restore, Resize, Maximize Window
- Drawing (Caveat: see below)
- File > Properties
- Exit: No save
- Save As
- Save (Only after an initial Save As)
What does not work:
- Views: Resource Graph (Bunch of garbage graphics on the right; doesn't crash though!!)
- Format > Font (Font preview scale is way too big.)
- Drawing (Switching to another window and back does not refresh the Drawing toolbar.)
- Exit: Save (See next)
- Save - When it's the file you just opened, there seems to be some weird resource lock race condition causing Project to think it is Read only:
Work Around - Execute "Save As" first, and then edit the file regularly. For safety reasons anyway, it would be good to save the document as a new version (append v1.1) and work on it.
Anyway, I'll report back as I use it more.
