Cannot connect to Exchange Server

I am having difficulty getting Outlook 2010 set up. I used the cross tie for Office 2010 and installed into a new bottle.

When I try to set up my exchange account, I get stuck at the searching for xxx@abc.com server settings with a password dialog that won't go away no matter how many times I enter my password. I looked on the tips and tricks section of the website and saw that they recommended setting a registry key, and I set the key to allow private certs (although I believe that ours is signed by a CA). But it still won't work.

Eventually, I get a message "an encrypted connection to your mail server is not available", but I need to have an encrypted connection.

I also tried deleting the bottle, and reinstalling, this time installing Office SP1 through crossover before I tried adding an account, but that doesn't seem to make any difference.

Any ideas what might be going on and how to fix it? I have attached a screenshot below of where I get stuck:

Thanks,
Rob

The symptoms reported in this thread can be caused by a number of issues.

It would be better if you contacted our Support Team by filling out our online form. In addition to the information requested there, they will want to know what type of mail server you're connecting to, if you're connecting to an Exchange Server, what version of Exchange Server, and what type of authentication is in use.

Each combination of email servers presents different issues and may require different steps to properly configure (within Outlook) and with CrossOver.
