Outlook 2007 won't connect to Exchange 2003 server

OS: Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks
Distro: N/A
Version: 13.0.1
Arch: 64bit
CrossOver Type and Version: Pro; Microsoft Office 2007 Professional SP3
Installer: .exe

I installed the above and all the other programs in the Office 2007 suite
works fine. But when I try to setup Outlook 2007 to connect to our office's
Exchange 2003 server, it would not work.
It would hang at the 'Configuring Outlook Accounts' dialogue screen.
I've triend the wininet trick as we're using a self-signed certificate but that
does not make any difference.
Please advise me what else I can do to connect to my Exchange 2003 account.

Victor

Hello Victor,

Crossover works very bad with self-signed certificates in general. Probably is better to ask your employer to have a real certificate to avoid problems

I tried many things without success including installing the certificate in internet explorer.

Carlos

Hi Carlos,

How do you import the certificate into IE?
And which version of IE do you have?
The default IE is so rudimentary that I cannot even find some of the options.
I also read somewhere that it can be upgrade.
I'm not familiar with the procedure.
Do you know anything about that?
Thanks!

Victor

Hello,

You need about without IE installed then go to CrossOver Control Panel and select Internet Settings. In the last tab you can install the certificate. But it doesn't work with Outlook.

Carlos
