If you create a custom form in Outlook 2007, you can sucessfully create, design and save a custom Outlook form, but you can't re-open it once you have saved it. If you try to re-open it, you get the following message "The form you selected cannot be displayed. An error occurred registering the form in the OLE registry".
Tools > Forms > Design a Form > Select "Standard Forms Library" - Select "Post"
Then select "Publish" > "Publish Form". The Select "Outlook Folders" from "Look In" and give the form a name. Then select "Publish"
Next try to create an instance of that form:
File > New > Choose Form > Select "Outlook Folders" from the "Look In", select your form and press "Open" you get the "The form you selected cannot be displayed. An error occurred registering the form in the OLE registry" message.
Any idea how this could be resolved as custom Outlook forms are a crucial part of our business workflow.
Many thanks,
Howard
