Hi,
I have an ubuntu efty edge and i just installed office 2003 pro.
Installation went fine and i can use all office apps.
only outlook cannot connect to any server.
both using server name as IP address.
I even added the server IP to my host file.
If i try to configure my mail settings via the bottle config panel. it crashes, telling me it cannot connect to the server.
I have tried installing in a winxp bottle and a win2k bottle as well.
No luck

We are close to shipping a 6.0.1 version that has some fixes for Outlook. That should be out later this week hopefully. Please test again in that version, if it still does not work, please submit a support ticket on this.
I have Ubuntu 7.04 with CrossOver 6.0.1 and Outlook has the same problem. I can't understand why.
I fixed it. Just install IE6 in the same bottle where you installed Office 2003 and that will allow you Outlook to connect to the POP/IMAP servers.
