Microsoft OneNote2010 unable to install

I am trying to install MS OneNote 2010 on a Mac running Crossover 15.1. I downloaded the installer file from the Microsoft website, and used the "Install Known Application" flow. I also tried clicking on the install button on the Crossover webpage for OneNote 2010. In both cases, the installer failed with a message saying that OneNote 2010 requires a newer version of Windows. Crossover was using a Windows XP bottle by default. When forcing Crossover to use a Windows 7 or Windows 8 bottle the installer would run, but would quit without any error message, and without installing anything.

Has anyone been successful with OneNote2010?

Thanks for any help,

Gerald

P.S.: I do use OneNote2010 for Mac, but there is a specific feature that Microsoft did not implement in the Mac version that is available in the Windows version. If anyone cares, the feature is the ability to search for all text formatted in the "ToDo Item" style.
