Microsoft OneNote 2007 Forum

Hi all,

I've posted a screenshot of OneNote 2007 working on Mac OSX. Seems fairly stable, but is a little sluggish and suffers from occasional crashes & the office component install window popping up occasionally. It would be great if the Codeweaver guys could speed it up a little and nail the stability issues!

Not sure if this is important, but OneNote was installed as part of a full install of Office 2007 Enterprise version into a WinXP bottle. I suspect OneNote prefers Outlook to already be installed.

tested the standalone onenote installer under OSX- fully functional, no caveats. similar types of performance issues with 7.0.x, 7.1.x seems much snappier (haven't experienced any heavy latency since updating). some important notes:

1. drag and drop copy does not work
2. copy/paste of anything but text is (expectedly) non-functional
3. media functionality is very limited- installing the require directx and other applications give some of this functionality.

Installed OneNote 2007 without Other Office 2007 apps (Outlook, Word, etc.) no issues so far (except installation of September Security Upgrade failed... see related post)

While I have not had any big issues installing OneNote without the rest of the office, Users will want to install the rest of Office if they want to "Insert As Printouts" for any Office objects (e.g., Powerpoint slides). Also, there seems to be no way to get the "screen capture" icon as it is installed into the task bar - which we dont have under OSX.
