Installation was successful - but no pictures are shown

Installation finished, I can connect picturemanager with the various filetypes. If I double-click a file, it opens picturemanager - but it does not show the picture. Neither as thumbnail nor the picture itself.

Did somebody have (and better: solved) that problem?

Thanks for any hint!
