Microsoft Office 365 Forum

I paid for the bloody Office365 personal and no matter what I did I couldn't download an installer. In the end I was so frustrated I asked them for a refund. How the feck do you get an installer file?

This isn't exactly the site to complain about that, as this is not Microsoft's. But here it is:

1. Get a computer using Windows, or a Windows VM, or a UserAgent spoofer for your browser. It isn't ideal that you have to do this to download an app, but Microsoft has put it that way.
2. Go to the Manage subscriptions page on Microsoft 365. There it should be an option to install, which will download the installer.
3. Run CrossOver and use that installer.

Has anyone managed to make this work? I've tried spoofing my user agent using chrome (on macOS), and I can't seem to download the installer from office.com. And if so, what user-agent spoof are you using? I tried using the spoofer link here on code weavers to add their agent to chrome, but it doesn't appear to do anything. I installed a user-agent spoofing agent separately, which doesn't seem to work.
