Hey, I could really use some help. I'm have an Acer Chromebook Spin 713 (i5) running Chrome OS. I downloaded the OfficeSetup.exe from my windows machine and installed Crossover 20 in . I go through the install steps by clicking to install windows applications, then select an unlisted application. I select my exe file from my linux files. I've tried using a windows 7, Windows 10 64 bit, and Win 10 32 bit bottle to install the suite.

After clicking install it does get to the install screen that shows all the office apps, but there is no progress bar. After giving it over an hour to try and install I've cancelled out and looked at the logs and this is shown thousands of times:

"00f2:fixme:msvcrt:MSVCRT__stdio_common_vsnwprintf_s options 24 not handled"

Any help would be appreciated!

Hi there,

Instead of selecting "unlisted application", you will need to select the office version that you want to install (e.g. 2016, 365, etc). Selecting the office version is crucial for making sure CrossOver does other steps behind the scenes to ensure installing and running the app works well.
