Powerpoint 365: double-click, text selection and focus problem for text boxes

Hi,
I am using Crossover 20.0.2 on Centos 8.3, with KDE Plasma 5.20.2/Qt 5.15.1 compiled from source.
This problem does occur as well with Xfce 4 and with Gnome Mutter wm, so KDE window manager is not the problem.

When double clicking on a text in any Powerpoint text box, the focus is moved inside the text box but the word is not selected.
It is impossible to select text with the mouse but it works using the keyboard.
If you directly selects the text of another text box (that does not have the focus), it works.
This specific issue was already raised in this forum the 26th July in thread "Power Point no double click" but no answer was provided.

Clicking on a text in a non active text box: the cursor goes to the right location.
But if you click again in this active text box (where the cursor already is) to move the cursor, the focus is set to the text box level (you can move it) rather than to the position you selected within the text box (ie. the cursor should be set to the location you clicked between two characters).

Does anyone have a tip for solving these problems that make using Powerpoint quite difficult?
I have tried to set up some kwin rules but with no luck till now.

Thanks

Same misbehavior with Wine compiled from source and Powerpoint 2013.
So this seems to be a long-standing issue, not brought by Office 365.

I would expect some response from Codeweavers about this issue, that is very annoying... Anyone got an official response from the support?
Best wishes

Hi folks,

We do have a bug filed for this issue, but we have no ETA on a fix.

Best,
Meredith
