Hi,

I have a fresh install of Fedora 31 Workstation with Crossover 19. I have attempted to install the latest version of MS Office 365.
I began the installation by searching/selecting the application and following the preset options for Office 365.
The install failed with error "Sorry something went wrong. Error Code: 30068-39(1715).".

Any suggestions to resolve this?

My first thought is that your Office installer might be out of date. Unless you downloaded the installer right before this test, I would recommend downloading a new installer from Microsoft and seeing if that improves the behavior.

I ran into the same issue testing the new version. I'm gonna guess you're using either 64bit or the business version of the installer. For me this produces the error:
Setup.X86.en-us_O365BusinessRetail_XXXXXXX_.exe

I got onto my personal account and downloaded the following and it worked just fine:
Setup.X86.en-US_O365HomePremRetail_XXXXXXX_.exe

I'm not sure what all the differences are in versions, bit that'll at least get it installing for you.

Thank you for the info! We just ran into the same error with a previously working version of Office today. It sounds like you were testing both installers today and they are both 32-bit?

i got the same issue here with error "Sorry something went wrong. Error Code: 30068-39(1715)"
i' m using office 365 for schools and student.
the installer i got from my account is:
Setup.X86.en-us_O365ProPlusRetail_xxxxxxxx_.exe

also, i have tried 64 bit version, and that can't even show up the installation window

i have same problem on Manjaro Linux

It seems that Office may have updated again and broken compatibility with CrossOver. If you file a ticket, your ticket can be attached to the bug we have open for this issue, and then be notified when we have a fix.

Same issue with Office 2016 on Arch Linux

Same Error on Linux Mint 20. Seems, that Office cannot reach the Internet through the Glass of the Crossover bottle... 😉
