Office 2016 Pro plus with network/AD based KMS server

I installed Office 2016 Pro plus in Crossover 17.5.1 and it all starts fine, but now i need to activate it using our companies KMS only key.

I tried the procedure that worked for Office 2010 (you never know) as shown on https://saintaardvarkthecarpeted.com/blog/2014/03/07/activating_ms_office_2010_against_a_kms_server_in_crossover_linux/ but this doesn't work.

Is there anyone out there that managed to figure out how to do this?
