Microsoft Office 2013 Forum

I am running on Ubuntu 17.10.

Whenever I insert a tiff, or open a .docx, with a tiff inside, Office 2013 or 2016 become irresponsive, or crashes.
My libtiff 5 version is 4.0.8-5 from the ubuntu official repo. I also have libtiff-opengl installed, I don't know if that matters.
The crash log sometimes reports that, sometimes it doesn't.
Anyone has a fix for me?

Fresh install and this problem is still here.

Anyone is running office 2013/16 with ubuntu 17.10?

For info, if I remove libtiff.so.5.2.6(i386) office doesn't crash anymore. But I can't import tiffs. it says, it can't display image. Other versions (from debian and ubuntu old and future versions, they all crash when importing a .tiff).
