Office 2013 Home and Student

Currently, neither I nor the Codeweaver Support Tech can get Office 2013 Home and Student to install, using a multitude of different variations. All of these attempts involved creating a Win7 32bit bottle. Apparently not all Office 2013 versions are compatible. Any tips on getting this to run would be welcome.

edit - I should state this is running Crossover 16 on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.x (have tried 10.12.0, 10.12.1 and 10.12.2).

Following up here on my old post. Just updated to the newest release of Crossover, v16.2.0.30219 but Office 2013 Home and Student still cannot install. Has anything been done to fix this yet on Macs? All the threads I read here in the Forum of people who get it to work are on Linux. I've tried the suggestions in Tips and Tricks and a few other variations but still, it won't install.

Hi,
I had the same problem when trying to install office 2013 Home and Student on Linux using crossover 16.2, the installer doesn't work, but then I login at setup.office.com and after register my product key, it let me download an online installer, I just dowloaded it and gave it a try and it works!, the office 2013 Home and Students were downloaded and then installed with the latest updates, you have to wait to finish to download all packages before to continue and it will be installed sucessfuly! try this solution on your mac.

Jose C.

Thanks Jose, but unfortunately that won't work in my case, as I don't have an account with MS, and the email I used when I purchased and registered Office 2013 (bought locally) no longer exists. The only way I can install Office is via physical media.

I wonder if this is a Codeweavers issue, or an issue of WINE itself, and WINE bottles not interacting nicely with MS?
