So... there's a rumour that Wine 1.8 actually completes and runs parts of Office 2013.
Anyone up to verify this rumour? PlayOnLinux just updated their scripts to use Wine 1.8-rc1[link=https://www.playonlinux.com/en/app-2665-Microsoft_Office_2013.html][/link], and since Crossover 15 will run Wine 1.8, I'm about to verify on this end with Crossover too. I just need to find out where I left all my Office 2013 installation files...
Well, I just downloaded and installed CrossOver 15 for Mac and can't get Microsoft Office 2013 (or 2016) x86 to install. The application isn't even yet listed as compatible, although CrossOver 15 should now support this Office version. Is there some trick I'm missing?
I also noted that the version of Wine included in CrossOver 15.0.0 is 1.8 RC2. Is there any way we can manually update this to RC3 or the final release when it's available?
