Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 encountered an error during setup.

Crossover Linux 11.2.1 on Ubuntu 12.04 x64 running office install from mounted windows share.

I'm getting the same error on a freshly installed Crossover Linux 11.2.1 instance on Ubuntu 12.04 x64. I'm installing from a local install file.

I previously installed the same version of Office on 11.10 without any issues.

I'm doing the re-install now because everything stopped working after I upgraded to 12.04.

We removed the .NET 2 dependency in the Office installer originally because we thought MS had permanently removed the .NET 2 download. It came back online a few days later (their webpage for it is still gone) so today we added the .NET 2 dependency back in.

You can go to http://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/browse/name/?app_id=7437 and click the green Install Office 2010 button to try installing again. With .NET 2 automatically being installed again the Office 2010 install should complete.
