Microsoft Office 2007 Lag

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to using crossover but i've got Microsoft Office 2007 working on my Mac however it is laggy. I know that using crossover will make some apps laggy, but is there any way to fix this? Thank you guys! BTW, I have a 13in 2.6GHz Intel Core i5 w/ 8GB Ram Retina Macbook Pro.
