Microsoft Office 2003 Forum

One of the very few things that is stopping me from using Linux entirely is the lack of a good replacement for OneNote, please, don't try to suggest an alternative, I have tried many. I just need OneNote to work with crossover. Other Office2003 programs work and I can get OneNote installed, but it says it can't open notebook.one and then asks if I want to get rid of it and open a new one and I hit yes and it seems to reload multiple times and finally it is open but is blank and it says No notebook is loaded, click here to start a notebook. This is a normal message that I have got before on windows, but as soon as I click on the screen, an error occurs and it closes out. I try again to open it, this time instead of clicking on the program, I go to open one of my saved notebooks saved on a fat32 partition, as soon as I click open, the program again shuts down. Is there any support for OneNote? Is it coming?

I must voice my position too. A good replacement for OneNote is also the only reason that I can't 100% switch to Linux.
I'm sure that I'm not the only person who would really like to see OneNote 2007 operating in Crossover. Many researchers and students would likely abandon Windows if they could get Acrobat Pro and OneNote (or a good equivalent like Evernote or MyBase) to work in Linux.

Are there significant problems in getting OneNote to work in Crossover? What about MyBase?
