Update/Upgrade Money 2004 problem

My online services expired on my installed version so I purchased the update/upgrade and am having difficulty installing it. I have Money 2004 installed with Windows2000 in bottle, I think the problem may be I need to create new bottle with Windows XP, but I wanted to check with others to see if anyone is running Money with XP and how that is working out.
