Adding Network Drives

Install fine in win98 bottle on 5.0.3 under Ubuntu Feisty. Problem is my Money file is on a network share on another computer using samba. Using the 'winecfg' run command to enter the configuration, I follow the procedure to add a new drive (smb://mynetwork/the drive) but it won't save the new drive long enough for me to see it when I then open Money. Message indicates the network is not being detected. Any suggestions how I fix this please?
