This program was successfully loaded on a Mac OS X into a Win98 environment and has been running without significant issue for a couple of weeks. I am a heavy user of Money for all personal finance needs, including lots of investing, though I do not go online directly through Money or through the Win98 environment. I download files from my bank using Safari and then import into Money.
Biggest issues (most are simliar to those posted under Money 2004)
-
mouse button doesn't always work for selection. You will need to get use to using TAB, space bar, Return and navigation arrows to get things working. This doesn't take long to get used to.
-
some investment report gave errors the first time and had to be re-built. Then they worked fine.
-
Old loan accounts where no longer closed after conversion. When I try to change the account details to close the account, the program tries to go to msn.com and I can't see the account details in order to change them
-
selecting from a drop down list is best done with the navigation keys, rather than mouse.
Overall these are minor issues compared to the benefits of not having to convert to new software after starting a new life away from PC's. I tried other software for personal finance made for Mac OS X and nothing comes close to the features provided within Money. I was very releived when I found Crossover and was able to keep Money.
