Microsoft Excel 2007 Forum

I am unable to open up a password protected file.

I am running the latest version of cross over under linux mint 13.

When I try to open it up, a blank excel opens. No dialog, no spreadsheet.

Any thoughts?

I tested this issue under Crossover 12.1.0 and Ubuntu 12.10. I created a very simple spreadsheet (just one string in a cell), then i saved it in xlsx format with password. I could save it and reopen it with no problem.

Could you please tell which version of Crossover you are using and what was the format of the excel file (xls or xlsx)?
