Password not recognized on protected Excel Files

Hey,

I hope someone can help me here...
I'm using Mac OS Lion 7.2, CrossOver 10.1.1 and Excel 2007.

I have an Excel file, or various Excel files (always the same, but with new info every day) that does not open properly in Excel:mac. (Some links between spreadsheets not working in Excel:Mac.)
So I want to use CrossOver and Excel 2007 till we figure out why it's not working on Excel:Mac.

Now unfortunately Excel 2007 under CrossOver does not recognize the password for this Excel file correctly.
The password contains "z" and "." so I thought maybe the keyboard mapping might be wrong, but on every other Excel file these characters, all characters of the password, are mapped correctly.
Still Excel 2007 under CrossOver won't open the file because of a "wrong" password.

I tried various approaches to get the password into the password field, typing, copying from a mac app, copying from an Excel 2007 spreadsheet.....
Nothing.

Any ideas?
