I am currently not able to install Evernote 5.x because the MDAC 2.8 doesn't install at all.
it only hangs during the installation process (see screen below).
I have also tried to manualy build the bottle without Evernote but that failed as well.
OS: Ubuntu 14.04 x64
Anyone know how to fix this?

Just installed Evernote 5 (and MDAC 2.8 SP1) with no issues on Linux Mint 17.
