hello all,
I have just download the latest Beta version of Crossover and installed it on my Ubuntu Dapper Drake machine. The installation of Crossover was a breeze! My current issue is what are the steps I should go through to install an access-based application that uses Access 2003 runtime? The system requirement for the application does not require Service Packs to be installed or Office for that matter. Here are the steps I have taken so far:
- installed CrossOver Linux Standard Trial
- installed Access 2003 Run-time with a winxp template. (this is the stripped down developer's version).
- installed the access application with a winxp template.
I now have an icon for Access Run-time as well as an icon for the application on my desktop, but double-clicking on them does nothing. What step am I missing here?
A side note, in windows, if I want to run the application command line, I would type the path to the mde file with /runtime in the command line. Is there a way of doing this in CrossOver? Are there documentation on this that I'm just not finding?
Any tips on this would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks!
