Access 2002 (XP) Cannot Open File on SMB Mount

I am trying CrossOver for Mac. I installed Access 2002 just fine. I can open local databases without problems. When I try to access the same file on an SMB mount, I get a file format error. The Path to the file is z:\Volumes\Share\Folder\File.mdb. When I copy the same file to my desktop, it opens fine. Is this a locking problem in Access or a CrossOver issue?
