MS Access can't read the OLE object because communication was interupted

MS Access works ok, but I have a small problem in that whenever I import a graphic into a form in MS Access I get the message (in the subject line) and won't allow me to do this. I can put graphics into MS Word, so I'm not sure what is happening, can anyone help. Regards
