21.2 on an M1 Mini

I'm trying to get Metro 2033 running via Crossover 21.2 on an M1 Mini. Get the cutscene playing but then the game abruptly halts.

Tried with a clean bottle, installing Steam, then Direct X for Modern Games and NVidia Physx (sp?!) but no luck - same behaviour.

Any tips or suggestions anyone can provide?
