There is no support for MT5 on the first release of CrossOver... version 19.0.0.32195
however.. I found a way to make it work..
on a friend's machine I used the beta version to create a metatrader5 bottle ... after that I exported the bottle and brought it home with me in a usb memory stick ... Ithen imported the bottle inyo my release version of CrossOver and it worked just fine...
this is just a workaround until full support is available on v19

Update... today, 14/dec/19 CrossOver v19 supports MT5
no more workarounds... yey :)

Yay! Thank you for the update! I was about to put MT5 on my list to investigate what happened. I'm glad you solved it :)

for me the installation with MT5 also did not work. i tried to install as explained. 1. enter Name 2. select .exe file 3. start install
Then some Files where installed, everything seems to work. I had to agree to some license agreements. finally it said finished,
but no icon is appearing. MT4 did work, there is also an icon after install. with MT5 this did no happen
