Hi,
Iam running Crossover 8.0 on my Macbook Pro (running 10.4). I created a new WinXP bottle and installed IE6 and
and MetaTrader 4.0 (Build 225). I also copied over the required MFC dlls and font from my WinXP installation.

The main MetaTrader application launches fine and Iam able to see all the charts getting updated etc..
Iam also able to open MetaEditor window and open scripts (online help works too). But Iam getting an error
while compiling scripts ("Cannot open driver").

I read about the problem with 'nprotect' and oreans.vxd driver. But in my case I do not get any details in the pop-up dialog other than what I had mentioned above.

Is there any way around the issue Iam facing?
If this works, then I can stop using the slow parallels VM and switch to Crossover for good! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..

I had the same problem. You can fix it by getting the MetaEditor and MetaLang files from an older MT4 installation. If you put those files in the build225 directory, replacing the ones that were there, then it all works! I've been using and compiling with build 225 on my Leopard Macbook for about 3 weeks now.
