Installs good, run the game, works too, play the game...no.

Istalling went well. Starting the game didn`t.
When after the intro (what sometimes laggs) want to start a game, i do have the choice for: easy, hard, very hard, but after that, it hangs/crashes.

Its works full screen in 8.0.

The games works great! Except at those point where several radiotransmissions intervere witch eachother (few times in the game) there you have to click esc in those areas otherwise game crashes. See the screenshots.

I hope someone here can help

However, I'm still getting purple graphics and it's in a tiny corner of the window.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I found the answer to my own question. In the in-game menu, I went to 'options' then 'video and sound options' and changed the resolution. The window is small, but the color is right and it looks playable.

Had the same problem, but in crossover 8 this was fixt. You can play full screen now without a virtual desktop now.
if you have problems, let me know. One tip though, you can download the 8.0 version (even if you already have it) again and replace the old one.

Apologies for the edits.

No problem, Caron. I understand the reasons.

I think it might be worthwhile to see if we can get MGS to recognize the CDs. It obviously can recognize the CDs for installation. When I have more time, I might play with it and see if we can get the game to play from the CD.
