If I am reading the forum correctly, the CD version does not work on the Mac due to DRM.
What about the Steam version? Can it be handled via the C4P? Or do I simply buy it on Steam and off it goes?

Hi,
You do not need the C4P profile for the Steam version -- simply
install Steam (it's in the 'Supported Applications' pane of the
cxinstaller window), then purchase the game via Steam if you haven't
already done so (use your system web browser to do the buying) -
when you start up Steam and login to your Steam account, the game
you bought will show up in the Steam GUI (in 'Games') - you can
right-click on the game entry and install from there...
