OS: Snowleopard 10.6.4

Ok, here an overview where Medieval 2: Total War is at the moment.
DVD version Medieval 2: Total War
Put DVD 1 in the drive and Install the game via the c4p file.
While installation there may come an question what kinda resolution you want to use.
I tested both, but both won't fix the wierd fonts issue (see issues)
When the installation is finished, crossover will make shortcuts to the programmenu.
However the game will not run yet unless you take care of the cd copy protection (DRM).
Now the game works.
Tips:
Speed:
- Well i have an on board graphicscard, the performance not very fast at medium/high settings, so i need to set graphics to low to enjoy good speed.
- You might get a slight performance increase if you set your videomemory size to your size of the graphicscard.
You can do this by: Programs --> run command --> select medieval bottle --> type: "regedit" (without quotes) --> navigate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine --> create a key(if not there) "Direct3D" and in that key create a string:"VideoMemorySize"(without quotes)
with as value your amount of graphic memory for example "256" (without quotes)
Issues:
Well there is besides it could be a little bit faster, a fonts issue (see screenshot) I dont have a solution for that one yet.
Patching to 1.2 doenst work either if i read this. In there the font issue is discussed also.
Note: This fonts issue is only in some submenus and ingame options. Main menu is showed properly.
