Medieval II: Total War Forum

When I try to start Medieval War 2 I experience an unexpected error. I've followed the installation guide to a T, and it doesn't work. Anyone know how to work around this? Offering $20 via Paypal for a simple answer!

Which version of this title?...ie; Steam? Disc based?

What version of the game itself? (there's a few patches)

What platform/OS are you running, and what videocard?

Which release of crossover?

I have the Disc based Gold Edition, just got it yesterday.

The version I'm not sure, it doesn't say in the readme =(
Im on OSX 10.4 4GB 1067 MHz DDR3 // NVIDIA GeForce 9400M

Install direct runtime modern (from 'runtime support components)
