I installed the game perfectly with CrossTie. Everything works fine except for the Castle battles. It takes 5 minutes to load one and the whole match has a big lag.
Does someone know how to fix this?

Okay, go to this link and download the file. It might say "decompression failed" when its done downloading, but it will usually show up in your downloads folder as a separate folder. Now, what these files do is that they reduce the textures of the city walls and buildings by about 50%. It still takes about 2-5 minutes to load, but you won't get nearly as much lag as you had before. I'm assuming you know where your M2TW data folder is, so when you open up the file after downloading, take the folder called "blockset" and drop it into your M2TW data folder. Then, go to your medieval2preferences.cfg file, open it in text edit, and paste the following lines at the top:
[io]
file_first=true
Save the file, and play the game. Your lag should be much less now. However, you have to copy and past that code into the medieval2preferences.cfg file each time you start the game to get the files to run.
