Games starts, but unplayable because of mouse issue....

Game starts fine, mouse works fine too, until you start the game and get in the game itself. The mouse doesn't work there.... you can only use the w,a,s,d key to walk, but if you cant aim, its useless... Very sad, because only the mouse doesn't work, the rest works great.

Edit: Its a known issue in wine..we need to wait for a fix. Register settings has no effect (MouseWarpOverride).

Paul. You seem very knowledgeable about using crossover. You've repeatedly had such success with game installations that games play at a higher quality than advertised by this website. Currently, I am having problems simply installing Medal of Honor: Airborne. I am wondering if I should install it by following your advice for the Pacific Assault install. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thats correct, it happens more offen that when you express install the game (the installer starts with the "launcher" instead of the setup.exe) and you come in the launch menu where you have the options to install the game and stuff like that, that when you click on "install" nothing will happen. You already noticed that with Medal of Honor pacific assault too i see. And to bypass that problem you can install the game manually via the installer by file (using setup.exe) then it does install.

So in short; yes, you should install it that way. Dont forget to install the: MS Directx redist. download package from the supported software.

Never the less, its quite unplayable with the mouse issue, mouse wil work in the menu, but when playing the game its not working. Its a wine issue which cant be fixed by a simple registerkey, what i already tried in the past when i tested the game. So until then its quite frustrating playing the game when you can walk but can`t aim to shoot the enemy ;)
