Performance improvement after Bottle setting change

Hello,
Fresh install of CrossOver 15.1.0 and MechWarrior. GPU not recognized but game loaded fine, patched ok.
Frame rate was so bad game was not playable. Tried changing many in-game video settings with little improvement.

Strangely enough I un-ticked "Performance Enhanced Graphics" under Bottle Settings, and there was considerable improvement in FPS . Almost playable now and graphics are good from what I could tell except for one thing. In "Testing Ground" area all enemy mechs were yellow ! To add to the puzzle, when shot, enemy mechs would turn darker with each shot until almost their correct color .
Did not go into QuickPlay but from my experience, FPS takes a hit when in a group.
Running a low power computer but MechWarriorOnline runs fine on my Win 7.

I will update if I can improve anything.

Slight improvement by using a "user.cfg" file. My 4 core CPU is running less than 50% on all 4 cores so "assuming" my GPU is the bottleneck.
Again, a more powerful machine will no doubt be fine. Setting video settings from low to medium, gives the biggest hit to fps. From medium to anything higher will have much less of a detrimental effect.

Fresh install of Crossover 16.0. Running Ubuntu 16.10 on a laptop with an Nvidia GTX card and 64Gb of ram. I also received the video card warning, but continued. From the in-game settings menu I maxed out the resolution and set to full screen. Those were the only settings changes I made. I entered the test area and proceeded to destroy the practice mechs. The game was smooth (i.e. I noticed zero lag) and I was quite pleased with the performance. I haven't yet had a chance to play in multi-player or with VOIP, but so far the play has been excellent.
